   Nino Theys is a Berlin-based Sound Artist and performer whose work challenges the conventional notions of performer and instrument, exploring the space in which the two merge, interact, and redefine one another.

His work develops various artistic practices, combining performance, installations, sound research and composition, resulting in immersive and singular performance setups where sound is seen, and visuals heard.

Unstable System  (live)    Concept of hybrid performance/ installation on a kinetic setup, where instruments dance to their own sound. Suspended on a motorized pulley system, the synthesizers rise and fall, driven autonomously by their own volume.
Absurdly, the instrument begins to play the performer.
