   Nino Theys is a Berlin-based Sound Artist and performer whose work challenges the conventional notions of performer and instrument, exploring the space in which the two merge, interact, and redefine one another.

His work develops various artistic practices, combining performance, installations, sound research and composition, resulting in immersive and singular performance setups where sound is seen, and visuals heard.




Disillusion of a Machine (LP)    Collection of soundscapes in between Ambient and Drone, recorded from very simple sound sources, often pure sine tones, then shaped through various physical/tactile audio processes such as springs, feedback, faulty circuits, hands.
The sound that comes out of it is aimed to be palpable, almost as an illusion for these machines to be.
Recorded in Funkhaus Berlin, released on all digital platforms + CD production, 27.03.25
